A special commission for Valentine's Day!

I love seeing these wings in different color palettes as they take on a different life with each change!

Hi! So strong, so incredible. One question: Do you send the wing also to vienna? We would like to buy some.   In November, we have an art exhibition. Among other things, a dress, only with bottle caps. A wedding dress. We would need these incredible wings.
Thanks for your answer

This is so amazing!! All your wings are so accurate!

I came here because I was searching for materials and methods to make my own fairy wings for the first time, but when I see your work, I get a little bit discouraged :3 I guess you use spray painting to color your wings? But what is the kind of fabric you use to make your wings? I was searching here in the Netherlands, but I can't seem to find the right fabric x3 Thank you and keep up your amazing work!

Hi there!

Thank you so much for the kind words about my work! And please, don't be discouraged! You can do this! I create my wings using the wire and hose method. The fabric I use is knee high pantyhose. The best kind is inexpensive and has very little lycra in it. And yes, I use air brush (or spray paint will work) to color my wings. Also, you can dye the fabric, too. Best of luck to you!!

So you put a real panty hose over your wire? That's so clever! I saw all kinds of methods were I had to cut out the fabric and glue it on to the wire and I was like, omg, that's something that I never can straighten out properly!

But how do you 'guide' the panty hose down your wire? I saw all kinds of examples, but they didn't follow the curved lines of the out line so nicely as yours. Do you sew the panty in the curves to the wire perhaps?

Thank you for your explanation, it really helped me a lot! I got all exited to start building my own wings!

Hi! I'm so sorry for taking so long to get back to you! I've been underwater with orders!

In large part, the hose just naturally hugs the wire in gentle curves. For larger curves, you may need to hand sew the hose to the wire frame. I do this *all* the time.

I hope you have fun with your wings! Best of luck!
